Overview
Ecomeal is a digital platform designed to reduce food waste by connecting donors with those in need. The application features an Event Donation system for food contributions and a rewarded Organic Waste disposal feature to promote sustainable waste management.
Challenge
Indonesia produces approximately 23 to 48 million metric tons of food waste annually. This surplus could potentially feed millions of people in need, highlighting a critical gap between food waste and widespread malnourishment.
